The gaze looking upwards through the branches of the trees is a desire to see beyond the present. The trees reaching up into the sky are a reminder that every moment of our lives is rooted in the past, but at the same time reaching for the light of the future. Past experiences can support our future achievements, but can also become a barrier if we allow them to limit our view to only what is already known.
This work is not about the seasons, the trees or the forest. It is about stopping once in a while, looking up and inward. Stop a moment. You're beautiful!
